A most excellent location for a quiet highland holiday set beside a pretty Loch and surrounded by green hills with local services close by. The Old Croft house is a single storey traditional stone cottage that has been upgraded to provide a cosy holiday cottage. The cottage is situated towards the end of a single track road that runs along the banks Loch Long in the village of Bundalloch and from the property there are lovely views across the Loch.
An entrance hall provides access through to the lounge which offers comfortable settees (one of which is a bed settee) a TV, DVD andCD player and a selection of books and games. There is also a wood burning stove for those cosy nights in although the cottage does benefit from an oil fired central heating system also.
The kitchen/dining room is located in an extension at the rear of the house with a back door leading to the private rear garden. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, fridge with small freezer box, washing machine and microwave. The dining table seat 4 people and there is another wood burning stove in this room also.
The bedroom is situated of the entrance hall and has a double bedroom. The shower room is also to be found just off the hallway and this has a WC, wash hand basin and shower cubicle with electric shower over. There is a parking space at the front of the house.
Bundalloch is a friendly village which is connected to the bigger village of Dornie where there is a good village shop and 2 hotels. The world famous Eilean Donan Castle and Visitors Centre is also in Dornie and well worth a visit. This area is an ideal base for touring the north west highlands and perhaps taking a trip across the ‘toll free’ bridge to Skye. NO TOWELS – Open fire 2 wood burning stoves . Open January - December
