The world famous Eilean Donan Castle and Visitors Centre is close-by as are the magnificent Five Sisters of Kintail, ideal for a climb or perhaps for the less active, simply a nice view! The famous village of Plockton is a short drive away and the Skye Bridge, at Kyle of Lochalsh, is now toll free and a trip across the sea to Skye can be a very enchanting experience.

There are convenient local facilities in Dornie such as village shop and post office, hotels and a pub. Enhanced facilities are available from Kyle some 8 miles away and these included a supermarket, shops, leisure facilities, restaurants and a railway station.

There is a spacious parking area beside ‘Beinn Fada’ and the generously proportioned accommodation comprises of a large lounge/dining room with most attractive ornamental window to the front with views across to Loch Duich and beyond. This room has a very comfortable suite, satellie TV, electric fire and dining table and chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, microwave, coffee machine etc. There is a lovely double bedroom with a Four Poster bed, built in wardrobes and en-suite facilities plus a spacious twin bedded room. The bright bathroom has a wc, bath, shower and wash hand basin. Open throughout the year this property offers visitors the opportunity to relax in comfort and warmth at all times.
