Bearnock country cottages offer five star accommodation (national tourist board rating from Visit Scotland) in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK, enabling you to escape all your cares and worries and bask in luxury with friends and family.

There are 5 different cottages to choose from all recently completed to the highest of standards and furnished with contemporary fittings and furnishings. For example only the best Denby crockery is used, the leather suites and ‘state of the art’ lighting make it easy to unwind at the end of a busy day and the beautifully finished bathrooms and bedrooms exceed guest’s expectations!

The kitchens are fully equipped with every labour saving device you could possibly need and we would envisage you spending a great deal of time around the large dining table in the evening discussing the day’s events.

For the balmy summer evenings quality garden furniture is provided for you to sit in the comfort of your own private garden. A barbecue is provided also!  For the wet or lazy days you will find a comprehensive library of DVDs and CDs, all listed in a folder,  you simply need to phone the office with your choices and they will be delivered to your door!  As you would expect a welcome pack awaits all visitors and this includes a complimentary bottle of white and red wine as well as the necessities such as tea bags, sugar, milk etc. Each cottage is provided with a pre-paid mobile phone. The ultimate in comfort is yours for as long as you wish!

Located within very easy walking distance of the cottages you will find the Bearnock Country Tea Room which gives a heart to this very ‘up market’ development.  The Tea Room provides a place to come for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a snack and why not sample the lovely home made scones, cakes etc.  It has an inside children’s play area complete with ‘fuzzy felt wall’ and a great selection of toys as well as providing two internet booths for guests who want to keep in touch with the outside world! 

This main cottage has five modern bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, and can sleep up to 10 people. It also has two lounges, a listening room or study, a formal dining room, and a spacious kitchen/family room.

Each cottage is set apart from the others providing both privacy and relaxation. However Bearnock Country Cottages are also ideal for a big get together of large groups of people perhaps occupying a number of the cottages.

All cottages offer spectacular elevated views across the lush countryside of Glen Urquhart, just a few miles from the world famous Loch Ness literally the centre of the highlands! This area is understandably very popular as it provides good local services, excellent tourist attractions including nearby Urquhart Castle and yet fulfils your expectations offered by the beauty and tranquillity the area has to offer.

Cot, baby bath, high chairs, booster seats, saftey gates, fire guards and baby bouncing seats are avilable to use free of charge. We are very baby and child friendly and will assisit with any equipment that we can.
