The cottage enjoys unrestricted views all round, and from the front there are views across the sea to the mainland and surrounding hills

Kyleakin is a pretty fishing village situated on the south eastern tip of Skye and is close to the toll free Skye Bridge providing quick access to and from the mainland. The village itself has good local services including village shops (one with wi-fi), post office, restaurants and pubs, and a community centre hosting local events. The larger village of Kyle of Lochalsh just across the Bridge offers additional facilities including a supermarket, leisure centre and railway station. Beyond Kyle is the picture-postcard village of Plockton, with its award winning restaurants and outstanding views

An impressive sitting room with attractive revealed stone wall and open fire with antique fireplace, TV with Sky+, DVD player and hi-fi. You will find plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs. There is a window looking onto the front garden and views towards the loch. There is also a large library of books on Skye and Scotland along with other general reading.

The large dining room seats 6 comfortably and has an open fireplace with stone surround. It has a window to front overlooking the garden.
The bright kitchen has plenty of storage space, a 4 ring electric cooker with an oven and grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. The kitchen looks onto the bright, sunny conservatory.

The south facing conservatory has versatile space for seating and dining and views to the rear garden.

Dressing Room

On the ground floor there is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, a large bathroom with corner bath and adjacent dressing room. Opposite the front door there is a cupboard with space for boot and coat storage.

On the first floor, bedroom one is a good square size double bedroom with window to front providing lovely sea views.

There is also an en-suite shower room with shaver socket.

Bedroom 2 is another good size double bedroom with window to front and en-suite shower room with shaver socket.

On the second floor, bedroom 3 is a bright, pleasant twin room with window to front and Velux window to rear. This room has a private shower room situated on the first floor.

Witchwood has a large front garden with picnic tables, summer house and gazebo. Enjoy a glass of wine in the summer house while watching the sun set over the Skye Bridge.

Garden and decking areas

To the rear, the large south facing deck has a picnic table, lounger and chiminea for burning sticks and small logs. The deck also has a rotary drier if required.
