This deceptively spacious former Post Office offers comfortable holiday accommodation for 3 or 4 people with all the facilities one would need for an enjoyable highland holiday. Situated adjacent to the quiet township road with lovely views over Loch Harport the Old Post Office is just a few minutes walk from the busy fishing pier and also has the advantage of being opposite the local hotel where one can take advantage of their warm hospitality and meet the ‘locals’.

This area of the Island of Skye is very popular with visitors especially as the sandy beaches of Glen Brittle are just a short drive away. It is also ideal for those spectacular walks into the Cuillin Mountain range and if the weather proves to be a little damp a visit to the world famous Talisker Distillery and Visitor Centre is a must. Portree, the capital of the Islands is a 20 minute drive away and here you will find all the facilities of a small town including a good selection of restaurants and bars, a supermarket and selection of smaller shops.
The Old Post Office has a spacious off road parking area to the side and the internal layout comprises of an entrance vestibule with door off to shower room on one side and door through to open plan kitchen/sitting room on the other.
The shower room has a WC, wash hand basin and shower cubicle with an electric shower as well as a heated towel rail and shaver socket. Off the main living area are the two small bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk beds (it should be noted however that the bunk bedded room is s mall and 2 adults may find it quite restricitive). The living area is well equipped with a comfortable three piece suite, a television and radio.
The kitchen benefits from a new electric slot in cooker, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine/dryer. The property is heated by an electric heating system and has been freshly decorated with good quality floor coverings. Electricity by meter.
In fact everything one would need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday!
