Standing impressively on a highland hillside with superb views over the Loch, this stunningly converted church provides ‘5 Star’ quality accommodation for a truly ‘get away from it all’ holiday.
Lovingly converted and restored with great attention to detail this holiday retreat provides everything the discerning visitor could wish for.
Designed to accommodate just 2 people, the spaciousness and relaxed contemporary ambience immediately impresses as does the cosy warmth from the under floor heating, the elegant simplicity of the plain white walls and the sheer and utter comfort of the furnishings and equipment.
Indeed, guests may even find it difficult to step outside to truly appreciate the wonderful highland scenery surrounding their holiday home.
An entrance vestibule/boot room has a utility area to the side providing a washer/dryer. A heavy door opens into an impressive open area with the bespoke stained glass ‘Thistle’ window filtering gentle light through the gable wall.
This area has 2 exercise machines to help keep guests in trim after having over-indulged in the fresh local produce that you can enjoy.
Along the corridor is the ‘spa’ bath and sauna room with a large window from which to view the scenery whilst soaking in the bath. The bedroom is again an impressive room with King size bed, beautiful fabrics and furnishings and a flat screen wall mounted TV for easy bedtime viewing.
The bathroom/wet room is beautifully tiled in mosaic tiles and comprises WC, bidet, shower and wash hand bowl. A specially designed spiral staircase provides access from the ground floor to the upper floor where the open plan accommodation provides a spacious fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher of course) and a low settee position beside another large window from which to fully appreciate the lovely views or simply watch the Television!
Carbost is a typical highland village with local village Inn and Shop. It is also home to the world famous Talilsker Distillery and Visitors Centre. Carbost is also a perfect central location to tour the whole island and visit the many attractions on offer.
