In a stunning location with a very private rear garden from which to fully appreciate the views, this spacious detached house is located in the popular Waternish area of the island.
Eagles nest on the opposite cliff and seals can be seen in the sea below the house.
The house has been designed so that all the rooms, with the exception of the bathrooms, have panoramic sea views, perfect for enjoying the wonderful sunsets. Recently upgraded and tastefully furnished Overwater House provides the comfort and views you would expect of a superior holiday home.
Overwater House has 2 levels of accommodation and would suit a larger group of people and in particular those that would appreciate the privacy of 2 separate kitchens and living areas. On the ground floor there is a nicely fitted out new kitchen with integral appliances including a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, wash/dryer and ceramic hob with double oven below.
The main sitting/dining room has a beamed ceiling and is very spacious and bright, the main feature being the large patio doors not only providing direct access out onto the paved seating area but also wonderful panoramic views across Loch Bay and over the small isles to the Outer Hebrides. There is a dining table to seat 6 people, a television, DVD player, CD& radio and a good selection of reading material. Open fire in Lounge.
