This charming traditional stone house is situated in the quiet village of Camus Mor and enjoys lovely open views across the Minch to the Outer Hebrides. Kilmuir is a large crofting community situated on the Trotternish Peninsual near the most northerly tip of the Island.
It is an area of great natural beauty and the buriel place of the famous Flora MacDoanld who assisted Bonnie Prince Charlie in is escape is situated close by. The nearest main village is Uig which is a short drive from Camus Mor and here you will find restaurants, a shop, hotels and the ferry terminal connecting Skye to the Outer isles.
Portree the Islands capital is a further 15 miles south of Uig and here you will find all the facilities you would expect of a busy town.
Internally the house has a large well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. The sitting area has an electric fire and TV.
The main living room is a lovely place to enjoy the open views and also has a second TV. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and comprises WC, wash hand basin and bath with electric shower over. On the upper floor there is a double room, a twin bedded room and a single room as well as a Cloakroom. There is private off road parking for two cars and the house has its own payphone and £1 coin electric meter.
