This house is a great base for your visit to the North West of Skye. The house has a main lounge with a welcoming open fire and views westward which offer fabulous sunsets. CD/radio and tape cassette player. Television and selection of books and games. A smaller sitting room also provides a place for reading or games away from the main lounge. It has a TV for the video player.

The spacious dining/kitchen has appliances including dishwasher, fridge, microwave, electric hob and cooker and a large dining area for 8 adults. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer in the utility room.

On the ground floor are the family bathroom (shower over bath) and two bedrooms, a twin and a double. All rooms on the upper floor have a magnificent view westwards over Loch Dunvegan Sunsets are breathtaking. Upstairs comprises landing, large double bedroom with WC & shower en-suite. Family room with double and single bed with WC & shower en suite.

Visit the world famous Dunvegan Castle & Gardens. A boat trip to see the seals. We recommend a visit to Neist Point, where basking sharks have been seen feeding in the bay. Bring your fishing rods as freshly caught mackerel for supper or for the barbecue is a memory to be talked about for a long time.

Local activities include fishing, walking, climbing & horse riding. Enjoy local cuisine at: ‘The Old School Restaurant’ a 5-minute walk away and ‘The Three Chimneys Restaurant’ a 15 minute drive away.

There are excellent services in Dunvegan Village including a tourist office, petrol station, post office with cash point, fruit & veg shop, grocery shop and newsagents, a bakers shop, a café & bakers. Dunvegan is a great centre for you visit to Skye. Enjoy your stay with us.
