Allt Slapin is a traditional style cottage with Lochside location and is nestled amongst some of Skye’s finest scenery. It has very easy access to the sea shore and outstanding views across Loch Slapin to Blaven and Clach Glas and has southerly views to Loch Eishort.

This is a real ‘get away from it all’ holiday retreat and would be most suited to a family or party of outdoor enthusiast. The cottage has plenty of modern conveniences and yet still retains much of its original rustic charm. There is a Dimplex night storage heating system and an electric stove in the lounge for those chilly winter evenings.

The cottage is an excellent base from which to explore the area. Many mountain and loch walks can be taken directly from the cottage or why not take a boat trip from Elgol, just a short drive away, across to Loch Coruisk to see the local seal colony?

There is the Blue Shed Café just a few metres from the cottage in which you can sit and enjoy your surroundings whilst sipping a cappuccino. A mature and prviate garden surrounds the house and there is parking at the front of the cottage.

On entering the cottage, you will find plenty of hanging space for coats and wet boots. This then leads into the farmhouse style kitchen with pine table and seating for 6 people. You will also find all the modern facilities required for your holiday including dishwasher, electric oven and ceramic hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge freezer. An L shaped hallway leads onto the bathroom with wash hand basin, wc and bath with electric shower over.

The large lounge/dining room has a stunning view across Loch Slapin to Blaven and Clach Glas with a chaise long to relax in and read or watch wildlife. There is a comfortable 3 seater corner sofa - which converts into comfortable double bed, flat screen TV with freesat, DVD player and electric remote control stove. It also has a dining table and chairs to seat 6.

The bedrooms are fairly spacious with one large double room which has a double wardrobe, desk and bedside tables. The twin room has a built in wardrobe and free standing chest of drawers.

The third bedroom has a 3/4 sized bed which could easily sleep two children or one adult quite comfortably and two built in wardrobes.

Torrin is a small friendly crofting community some 7 miles from the nearest main village of Broadford. Broadford has good local services including supermarkets, shops, hotels and restaurants.
