From ‘Tigh Shomairle’ there are panoramic views northwards across Staffin Bay to the Trotternish Ridge and eastwards to Staffin Island and beyond. This nicely planned and comfortably furnished cottage provides everything you will need for a relaxing highland holiday and benefits from an electric heating system throughout and double glazing.
Staffin is a large and friendly village with good local services including 2 village shops, and the Columba 1400 centre with restaurant attached. There are excellent hotels within a few miles drive both providing quality dining. There is a lovely sandy beach close-by with a slipway and the area is ideal for both hill walking and bird watching.
The island's capital Portree is some 16 miles to the south and here you will find all the facilities you would expect of a thriving town
There is a small entrance vestibule ideal for hanging up your coats and leaving your walking boots and a door leads through to the hallway. The cosy lounge is well provided for with a comfortable suite and TV and a door off leads through to the kitchen/dining which has a pine table and 4 chairs and all the appliances you could require including a washing machine, electric cooker, fridge and microwave.
The bathroom comprises of a WC, wash hand basin and bath with an electric shower over and there are two bedrooms one double and one twin. There is a spacious parking area beside the cottage. Linen and Towels included - Open January to December
