'Kirkhill' is situated in the pretty crofting community of Carbost and offers spectacular views over Loch Harport and the Cuillin mountain range. The cottage is conveniently located for excellent local services which include a general store, a lively Inn and restaurant, and the famous Talisker Distillery and Visitors Centre.
Carbost is a particularly good base for climbers and hillwalkers as there is quick access to the many walks and famous climbs in the Cuillins. Kirkhill is also a short drive from sandy beaches at Glenbrittle and Talisker Bay.
The main entrance into the property is via the sunroom at the front of the cottage. From there a door gives access to the main hallway, and French doors open into the comfortable lounge/dining room which is well equipped with a TV (freeview installed) DVD and CD player. There is a selection of videos, games and books for your enjoyment.
The kitchen and utility room are well-equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob. The bathroom has an electric shower installed over the bath.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor: a double room, and a family size room which has a double and a single bed. On the upper floor there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds. For the pleasant summer evening in the garden, outdoor furniture is provided as well as a BBQ. Parking space for three cars.
