With lovely open sea views across the Minch to the Outer Hebrides this typical highland cottage offers very comfortable and spacious holiday accommodation. The house is built of traditional stone with thick walls and has been nicely upgraded to offer every comfort required for a truly relaxing holiday.
The large open hallway has access off to a spacious kitchen/dining room that is very well fitted out and includes dishwasher and fridge.
Off the kitchen is the rear utility room that has a washing machine and space to store outdoor boots and coats. The sitting room has 2 comfortable settees and a flat screen TV with Freeview.
A bonus of this house is the ground floor cloakroom which has a shower included. The upper floor has the family bathroom and 2 double size bedrooms one housing twin beds (with pull out single bed) and one with a double bed. There is off road parking and out door furniture for enjoying the spectacular views on a warm summers evening.
Herbusta is a typical crofting community located on the beautiful Trotternish Peninsular, which is an area of dramatic beauty, great walks and an abundance of wildlife. The village of Uig is some 4 miles to the south and has good local services including a village shop and post office, hotels and a petrol station.
Uig is also the ferry terminus for the Outer Hebrides with regular sailing to the Isles of Uist, Lewis and Harris. Portree the Islands capital town is 15 miles south of Uig and offers enhanced services and excellent shopping and dining opportunities.
