This charming traditional stone cottage with Lochside location has a superb situation with very easy access to the sea shore and wonderful views across Loch Slapin to the Strathaird Peninsula and southerly views to Loch Eishort. This is a real ‘get away from it all’ holiday retreat offering a high level of comfort and seclusion.

The cottage has been tastefully refurbished and modernized and yet still retains much of its original charm. The house has an electric heating system and is double glazed. Torrin is a small friendly crofting community some 7 miles from the nearest main village of Broadford. Broadford has good local services including supermarkets, shops, hotels and restaurants. There is a garden surrounding the house with a picnic table and a neat gravel parking area beside the cottage.

After a day on the hills or exploring the island, the cosy lounge has an open fire to relax in front of while you read a book, do a jigsaw or play one of the games that are provided. Peace and quiet are promised because there is no TV due to poor reception and mobile phones do not work in the Torrin area – however a radio and CD player are provided along with comfortable settees and chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped with electric oven and 4 ring hob, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer box and microwave. The dining table seats 6 people. The modern bathroom has a white suite and comprises WC, wash hand basin and bath with shower over. The cottage offers sleeping accommodation for up to a maximum of 6 people.

It has three bedrooms upstairs, one double, one twin and one single, while there is also a double bed settee in the lounge on the ground floor in case the STEEP STAIRS are a problem. (fuel can be found in the shed but should be replaced before departure)
