“Maighshiadair” is a traditional stone cottage is located on an elevated site with uninterrupted views across Loch Poolteil to Dunvegan Head.

The cottage is some 32 miles north west of Portree the islands capital and some 13 miles from Dunvegan the nearest main village where facilities include shops, hotels, restaurants and bars and the famous Dunvegan Castle.

The cottage has recently been refurbished making comfortable living accommodation. The entrance vestibule leads through to the kitchen /dinning room with all amenities such as electric cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The dining room is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views and benefiting from one of the two wood burning stoves in the cottage. The lounge has the other stove and it really makes for a cosy room to relax in front of the TV. There are also books and games, CD/radio and a video.

There is one double room and one twin room on the first floor of the cottage and bathroom with w/c, w/h/b and bath with electric shower over. There is an enclosed garden at the front of the cottage and outdoor seating for the lovely summer evenings. Electricity is included and your first bucket of fuel is provided.

The house benefits from an oil fired central heating system and all electric is included in the rental. There is parking on the road in front of it , however on the opposite side of the road is a large off road parking area ideal if there is more than one car.
