This very cosy and immaculate holiday cottage is situated in a quiet residential area of a small highland village. The cottage will make your holiday very easy and relaxed because of the comfort of this home and also its close proximity to a village shop and other convenient services.
The house has a spacious entrance hall, ideal for leaving walking boots and coats, a very cosy lounge with large open fire (first basket of logs provided) and flat screen TV. A selection of games, books and DVDs are also provided for those cosy nights in beside the fire.
The kitchen/dining room is extremely well equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, micro wave and dishwasher. From the kitchen sink you can admire widespread views across the village to the Quiraing mountain range.
The fresh bathroom offers the usual facilities including an over bath shower with shower screen and there are two bedrooms, a double room and a twin room.
Both bedrooms have ample wardrobe and storage space and again are immaculately presented.
The house has an oil fired central heating system and an electric key meter. The first £20 is included in the rental.
Staffin is situated on the rugged and beautiful Trotternish Peninsula which offers breathtaking scenery, fantastic walks and an abundance of wildlife. The village itself boasts 2 general stores one of which has a restaurant. There is also a large community centre with internet access available and a licensed café/restaurant, this is within very close proximity to the cottage.
A visit to the beach at Staffin is a must and this is approximately a mile away. Portree the capital town of the island is just 16 miles to the south and offers first class shopping and dining out opportunities.
