This charming traditional stone croft house offers comfortable holiday accommodation. Occupying a private garden area with panoramic views over Broadford Bay to the Islands of Pabay, Longay, the Crowlin Islands and across to the mountains of Applecross on the mainland. Westerly views are towards Beinn na Cailich and the Cuillin mountain range beyond and these provide the backdrop for superb sunsets on summer evenings.
The cottage is ideally located for all the activities this area has to offer, whether exploring Skye or the mainland, via the Skye Bridge, now toll free. Walk in the Cuillins, take a boat trip from Broadford, Elgol or Kyle to really appreciate the abundance of wild life including otters, puffins, porpoises and seals. In the evening you may prefer to make the most of the comfortable facilities of the Cottage by eating in or alternatively you may decide to visit the local restaurants and hotels all of which offer a selection of fresh local produce.
The Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and provides double and twin bedded rooms both situated on the upper floor with a modern bathroom in between. The ground floor has a comfortable lounge with 3 piece suite, TV, CD player/radio and an open fire to help you relax after a busy day of outdoor activities.
The kitchen is located just off the lounge and is comprehensively fitted out with fridge, washing machine/dryer, cooker, microwave, toaster etc. and a small table and chairs providing space for 4 diners. A spacious entrance vestibule area at the front of the house has a strategically placed table and chairs from which to fully appreciate the wonderful views while either eating or writing your postcards!
There is dedicated off road parking within the grounds that the cottage shares with another property belonging to the same owners. There is an efficient electric heating system throughout the property.
