This traditional cottage stands on an elevated site and offers lovely panoramic views across the village of Glendale and westwards over the Minch to the Outer Hebrides.

10 Glasphein is ideal for visitors who really want a holiday in a typical west highland cottage but with the amenities in place for a comfortable holiday. This cottage has many original and pleasing features and benefits from having multi-fuel stoves in both the ground floor rooms.
There is a small entrance porch where the tumble dryer and freezer are located and then access off the hallway to the sitting room which has a comfortable suite, multi-fuel stove and Sky TV. As mobile phone signals are sometimes difficult from here a telephone is provided with an honesty box beside it.
The kitchen is well equipped with every necessary facility including a washing machine and the dining room on the opposite side of the hall also has a bed settee. On the upper floor there is a bathroom with an electric shower over the bath and 2 double size bedrooms (one has a good folding bed if required).
The house has various electric fires as well as the 2 multi-fuel stoves. The first fire will be left ready to light and further supplies can be purchased from the village shop, which is open between 10am and 5pm (not on Sunday).
The area of Glendale is one of great natural beauty and within a short drive of the cottage is the world famous ‘Three Chimneys Restaurant’ ideal of a special night out but please book first. The bigger village of Dunvegan is a 15 minute drive away and here you will find the famous Dunvegan Castle and visitors centre as well as regular boat trips taking you out to see the seals.
