This charming terraced cottage is an ideal base for touring both the Islands of Raasay and Skye and is located in an area of great natural beauty. A regular ferry service allows visitors to the property to either spend their time on Raasay or use it as a base for touring and exploring the Isle of Skye also, you have the best of both worlds (please see our link page for timetable)!
Raasay is a small island with its own hotel and outdoor center and the village of Inverarish has a local village shop and post office.
Inverarish Terrace is only a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal and has easy access to a beach and childrens play area. With stunning views over to Skye and the Cuillin Mountains this small beautiful island is a peaceful and relaxing place to spend your holiday.
The entrance vestibule is a large area that is ideal for storing your walking boots and coats after a day out exploring the island. This newly refurbished house has a lovely open plan kitchen/dining/ lounge.
The kitchen benefits from a washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, diahwasher, electric hob and oven. The lounge has a comfortable suite, a TV & DVD player as well as a cosy stove standing in a traditional style fireplace (the coal for the stove will be provided).
The double bedroom has front facing views with large over bed storage cupboards. The twin room also benefits from plenty of storage with mirror fronted sliding door wardrobes. The bathroom has toilet, w/h/b and bath with electric shower over.
